What are Digital Product Passports?

A Digital Product Passport (DPP), is a digital identity card for products, components, and materials, which will store relevant information to support products’ sustainability, promote their circularity and strengthen legal compliance.

EU Regulation

The Digital Product Passport is a regulation that is part of EU's Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulations. Roll out of the regulation will be executed in phases covering different product categories. The first product categories need to be compliant by 2027.
